Squadron Staff

Senior Members

The Civil Air Patrol relies heavily on Adult volunteers who have joined CAP as Senior Members.  At the Squadron level, Senior Members are critical to ensuring the smooth operation across many disciplines.  From program functions like Aerospace, Emergency Services and Cadet Programs, to the more administrative duty positions like Public Affairs, Medical, Supply and Technology.

These roles or, duty positions ensure that squadron operations function within the rules and regulations set forth from CAP's Group, Wing, Regional and National leadership.  As with Cadets, Senior Members adhere to the same regulations aligned to those of being an auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force.

Most importantly, Senior Member staff also act as mentors to the Cadet Staff who lead the junior Cadets in their own growth and promotions through the ranks towards becoming leaders in their own rights.  First and foremost for the staff and Civil Air Patrol is that of ensuring the Cadets are safe and constantly challenged in their personal development.  Cadet Protection is paramount on all levels for the Civil Air Patrol.
